    Fresh Fall in our Kitchen.

Decorating this Fall has looked and felt a lot different than it has in the past. I have been going easy on the "things" and "extra stuff" in our home this year, I wrote a whole post about quieting the house this Spring and have pretty much stuck to it. I thought I would share the fresh fall look in our kitchen this season.

Well! Everyone adores having a gorgeous home with a gorgeous kitchen, bathroom, living room, and other rooms. In addition, many people decide to remodel their whole bathroom or opt for Kitchen Remodel Denver services in order to beautify their houses for the fall or Christmas holidays. If my bathroom cabinets or kitchen shelves had worn, I would have done the same. But I'm happy that I can solve the problem with only decorations.

In the past I have totally been a more is more person... maybe it's because I have a house full of crazy kids, a life with a crazy schedule, or I'm getting bored as I age... But I have found so much more peace in simple decor lately. Being more thoughtful about what I bring into our home has brought more peace and joy than having all the things. I'm not talking just about the decor work, but the daily essentials that make a home. For instance, calling a Kamloops plumber to fix the leaky pipe can make you much more satisfied than any decor piece. Of course, that doesn't mean decor items don't add to the joy. When you look at the whole space, the subtle decor elements are what catch our eyes.
I really love the mix of textures I did on our open shelving, and that I have been incorporating throughout our living spaces. The added warmth of wood and other natural elements in our kitchen makes it feel festive without feeling cluttered or fussy. Looking at the clutter-free designs and warm spaces that adorn my kitchen, it almost seems to resemble those beautiful french provincial kitchens I've so often seen on TV and in home shows. I've always wanted to have an elegant kitchen environment, which I feel like I've managed to accomplish now! The sunlight is more than sufficient in the kitchen, and it makes the place good warm and happy. I do like the idea of expanding the kitchen a little over to the deck, putting up a BBQ stand, and the sort. However, for that to happen, we might need to remodel the deck a bit by calling Deck King Calgary or some similar remodeling company near here. Anyway, for now, we have no plans to redo the backyard. Maybe in the future.

That's it! That's all I have to share with you for our fall look in our kitchen. What do you think? Do you think it's "enough"? Have you felt the pull toward a simpler life lately too? I've really enjoyed the movement in my own home, and watching my favorite bloggers apply the same principals in their own homes too.
