Freshening up our Dining Nook Part 2.

*This post sponsored by Wayfair, all the reviews and opinions are my own.

I am so excited to share this post with you today, I have been loving these new pieces in our home for the last week and haven't been able to shout it from the rooftops. Today I am sharing the fresh updates we made to our dining nook with Wayfair. In Part 1, I talked about how I wanted to add more texture and a round rug to our dining nook, even though I loved it before. See the great options I found here.

Today I get to share with you what I chose and ordered for our home. Starting with these beautiful Windsor style dining chairs. These chairs are solid wood and a total steal for the price. They are full size dining chairs which makes my tall husband a happy camper. We spend a lot of time gathered around this table, for not only meal time multiple times a day, but homework and craft projects too. There's just something natural about a family gathering around a dining table, and I have been loving these chairs for comfort as well as style. The other layer of texture that I added was this beautiful hand woven Jute Rug. I can't even get over how much switching out the rugs have made all the difference in this area. It simplified the area a lot taking out the pattern, but still kept it so warm because of how textural this rug is.

I went with the 6' round which is appropriately sized for my 42" round table. You want to make sure that when you pull out the chairs there is enough space to keep them on the rug. Too small of a rug is such a sad mistake that I see all the time, even made by the pros.

The other thing over here that makes me smile is the little floral arrangement in the middle. I just can't resist grabbing some fresh blooms every time I run to the grocery store to arrange. I love love this sunflower arrangement I threw together last week. Sunflowers always remind me of fall but also of my mom, because they are her favorite, but also such a fun nod and welcome to fall. Nothing makes a kitchen feel more fresh and inviting than fresh florals in my opinion! Totally worth the couple bucks and couple minutes to arrange them.
I love the view of the silhouettes of these chairs peeking up from this view in my home. I absolutely love the mix of the white table, the jute rug, the metal light, and the beautiful wooden chairs. Such a classic combo, and though it's simple I really think it is still so warm, inviting, and all the texture makes my heart so happy.

It really is so funny to me how just a couple new things can just inspire you and breathe fresh air into your living environment. A new rug, new chairs, or just fresh flowers can totally give you a whole new outlook on your entire living environment.
