If you haven’t noticed or are new around here you may have noticed that I am always tweaking our house and changing little things for the better (or worse.. but I don’t always share those escapades). I feel like homes are always evolving and the way you use them or need them. Anyways, today I am sharing a little update in Gracie girl’s bedroom. I finished her room last spring but it never felt quite done because it was missing our favorite bedding. I was on big deadlines for her space so it kind of got overlooked for a little while.. but since the dust settled I really decided I truly missed having this bedding in her room. I normally buy silk bed sheets but since she’s only young, I wanted to get her something a little cheaper.

She always spills drinks and gets crumbs in her bed, so I wanted some bedding that would be easy to replace. In this search of mine for her bedding, I did stumble upon A complete guide to John Lewis mattresses and found it worth reading. If any other parents are looking for ideas to choose a bedding they can take the time and maybe read it once before buying a new mattress. But for her bedding, I wasn’t able to find what I want in there.

She is overall a neat girl but it is so hard to make a bed with everything flat and even so I would often go in there and fix it during the day. Beddy’s is so great even if your kids are neat because it always looks so well done and it is really so simple to do for little people. It’s so great! If you’ve been thinking about getting it for your kids I would keep your eye out because I am sure they will have Holiday sales coming up! Though I enjoy the neatness of Beddy’s I have found that my kids really enjoy the minky fabric on the inside and the coziness of not having it fully unzipped while they sleep. It kind of acts like a little bit of a weighted blanket and calms them. I love that Beddy’s truly are appreciated by moms and kids alike. Some people like to add an actual weighted blanket to make a cozy night’s sleep. I’ve heard Loveblankets that will make you feel safe and grounded improve sleep and look so good with Beddy’s bedding.

I am so in love with this particular Goldie Dots print, I love the mix of prints we have going on in Grace’s room it makes me so happy. I love when kids spaces are whimsical and fun! You can really just layer on the whimsy and patterns in their rooms and it is always so darling.
